Japanese house sitter Robot on sale

A Japanese girl takes photo with the Humanoid robot Wakamaru on Aug. 30.
The child-shaped humanoid robot for home use which can recognize about
10,000 words and work as house sitter will go on sale in Japan in
September by Mitsubishi-Heavy Industries Ltd. The company plans to sell
100 of the 1 meter (3.3 feet) tall, 30 kilogram (66 pounds) robot at
about 1.58 million yen (US$14,300; euro 11,619.4) for residents in
central Tokyo.
