Largest Taoism philosopher stone sculpture

China's largest Taoism philosopher stone sculpture, the Laozi statue,
sits at the Qingyuanshan scenery in Quanzhou, southeast China's Fujian
province. Laozi was a renowned philosopher and great thinker in the
Spring and Autumn period (770 BC- 476 BC). The statue is 5.63 meters
high, 6.85 meters thick and 8.01 meters wide. It occupies an area of 55
square meters and is regarded as an artistic value of the stone carving
in the Song Dynasty (960-1279).
