Silk Road Snow and Ice Festival opened

The 2005 Silk Road Snow and Ice Festival opened at Hongshan Park in
Urumchi, Xinjiang on December 20, 2005. The festival focused on
displaying the culture of Silk Road, snow and ice travel and ethical
customs
