Chinese Muslims gather outside a mosque in Urumchi, Xinjiang province
before a prayer for Eid al-Adha January 10, 2006. Muslims in China on
Tuesday celebrated Eid-al-Adha or Feast of the Sacrifice by slaughtering
sheep, goats, cows and camels to commemorate Prophet Abraham's
willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismail on God's command.
