Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River has been blocked with ice for a long
time and much of the ice has melted, attracting many tourists to watch
the defreezing waterfall on Feb. 7th, 2006. During the twelfth month in
the lunar calendar last year, Hukou Waterfall witnessed a wonder rare to
see in a century as it was blocked with ice. In the past few days, as the
mercury rose, part of the ice near Hukou Waterfall has melted, and
tourists can view the waterfall and listen to the sound of waterfall at
the bank.
