Beijing's first-phase recruitment of "degreed village officials" stopped
receiving applications on Feb. 8. Beijing will recruit 2,000 new college
graduates who come from Beijing and study outside the capital and who
come from other cities and study in Beijing to take jobs as assistants to
village party secretaries or executive assistants this year. As
candidates for the first-phase recruitment, college students who were
born in Beijing and studying in other cities made quite active responses.
